One trend I’ve seen fluttering around the internet recently is the Chic List; everyone creates their perfect interpretation of what they believe to be completely and utterly chic. So, I thought I would try my hand. In no specific order and with little to no explanation,  here is my chic list: 

  • Bright Red Nails 
  • Wooden No. 2 Pencils: inconvenient, but chic nevertheless  
  • Vintage Shopping/Thrifting: cool girls look out for the environment and save money at the same time  
  • Lipstick: my favorite  
  • French Hair Pins
  • Being Educated and Well Spoken 
  • Princess Diana: no explanation needed  
  • Film Photos 
  • Mixing Patterns: when done the right way, this expression of personal style exudes confidence and flair, which these qualities alone could qualify for my Chic List 
  • Sunglasses: a pair of shades always elevates a look…even without sun  
  • Knowing Recipes By Heart 
  • Being Well Traveled: I aspire to be this person someday 
  • Having Hobbies You Are Passionate About: not only makes for a busy schedule but also gives you conversation starters
