What a whirlwind everything has been so far…amazing for sure, but VERY hectic nonetheless. This is season I got to walk for an incredible UK based brand, Lemonade Dolls. Their energy and positive vibes were unmatchable and it was such a fun runway to be apart of. Everyone from hair and makeup to the CEO herself brought such positive vibes and it definitely showed throughout the night.

The camaraderie of the fashion world during this time is unique. To watch people come together, celebrate, and create is a beautiful thing. However, on a more personal note, the beauty and glamour of fashion week is truly in the eye of the beholder and most likely the things you see are just the pretty parts.
This season much more than before, pressure really seemed to seep between the cracks and fall right on my shoulders. Trying to accommodate my school life, a babysitting position, and a modeling career is no easy thing and felt like a balancing act, especially during fashion week.
I became anxiety ridden trying to impress casting directors and hold my own with other models. I worried about not booking anything and the need to stay relevant within the industry during such a pivotal time in fashion. I was exhausted from the busy schedule but also the emotional toll of it all.
From the models to those working behind the scenes the stress is real and can become such a big weight if it builds up too much overtime.
Overall, fashion week was incredible and I honestly do look forward to it; however, I also think it’s important to acknowledge the insane amount of literal blood, sweat, and tears that fuels the runway.
