In the spirit of February and Valentine’s Day, there is love floating all around us. Love in our relationships is so important, whether that be in our friendships, our families, or our significant others. As humans, we crave connection, and because of that, it is important to remind the people in our lives just how much we truly love and appreciate them. This time of year feels like a gentle reminder to slow down, embrace those we care about, and share a little extra love and happiness.
In no particular order, here is a list of some of my favorite rom-coms, perfect for February or any season!
Dirty Dancing: One of my all time favorite movies. I grew up watching it in the summer so it gives me all the nostalgia I need to make it to the warmer weather ahead.
Grease: This movie is absolutely a classic, sometimes a little questionable in character, but it’s one of those movies that never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it.
The Notebook: If you know me, you know that this is my absolute favorite movie of all time. Young love mixed with southern charm, and it never ever fails to make me cry at the end, no matter how many times I watch it!
Crazy, Stupid, Love: This is one of my favorites because it’s funny, emotional, and feels very real at the same time. It reminds you that love can show up when you least expect it and in ways you never planned.
Father of the Bride: This movie is so comforting and timeless, and it captures both family love and romantic love beautifully. It’s warm, nostalgic, and perfect if you love that classic Nancy Meyers feel.
It’s Complicated: I love this movie for its cozy aesthetic, beautiful homes, and more mature love story. It proves that romance doesn’t have an age limit and can still feel exciting and new.
Pretty Woman: This is such an iconic romance with the perfect mix of charm, humor, and heart. Julia Roberts makes this movie unforgettable, and it’s impossible not to root for her.
27 Dresses: This is such a fun and easy watch, but it also has a really sweet message about putting yourself first. It’s perfect if you love a strong female lead and a satisfying love story.
Little Women: This movie is beautifully made and feels soft, emotional, and timeless. I love it because it explores love, independence, and growing into yourself.
The Proposal: This is one of my go-to comfort rom coms because it’s funny, charming, and has amazing chemistry between the leads. It’s the perfect mix of humor and romance.

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or just in the mood for something comforting, these are the movies I always come back to when I want something familiar, warm, and full of love.
