Shooting an Editorial for Universal Standard

Back in March, I had the opportunity to shoot the April editorial for Universal Standard, and it was such an amazing day from start to finish!

We shot on a beach in Long Island, and while it was definitely a little chilly, we still had the best time. It was a full day of shooting for me. I woke up around 6 a.m. and we did not wrap until about 5:30 p.m., but the day went by so quickly because of how much fun we were having.

The entire team was so full of life, and I genuinely do not think we could stop laughing all day. I also loved getting to meet and work with the other models. Everyone brought such great energy to set, which made the experience even more special.

I really admire the brand’s commitment to size range and inclusivity for all, and after working with their team, it is clear that the mission continues through to their creative work.

And of course, the images turned out amazing! It is always so exciting to see everything come together after a long day of shooting, and I am so happy with how this editorial turned out. Definitely a shoot I will always remember!
